HMPC Haiti Mission 2011
In June of 2011, 18 medical and non-medical people will provide/support medical and dental care mobile clinics to remote villages in Haiti. We will spend time with the staff and children in a local orphanage (www.operationlovethechildrenhaiti.org ) by reading, teaching and providing hands -on care to the children who have been abandoned.
Traveling to Haiti and providing medical care is an investment of time and money. Ground transportation and translator fees increase our individual cost . Medications alone to see almost 600 people in 5 days is approximately $5000. The majority of costs are paid by each member of the team. Your prayers and financial assistance are appreciated not only to decrease cost but increase our capacity to see more people in need.
You may help by bringing donations of Tylenol and Vitamins to HMPC for transport to Haiti with our group. You may also help by providing financial support for the trip.

God promises to guide, satisfy and strengthen all those who act on behalf of the poor. We will return to Haiti annually. You are encouraged to contact us if you are interested in giving or being a part of our mission team in 2012. For more information, contact pstockwe@comcast.net.

Hamilton Mill Presbyterian Church had an opportunity to put our faith into action and implement our mission statement -"to reconnect people to Christ, the Church Community, and God's world." by traveling to Haiti, the poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere in June 2010
