Courage to Persevere

1 Samuel 30: 1-6 (p. 467)

If it is hard to make a commitment to grab hold of the life God wants to give you,  it is even harder to stick with that commitment, to achieve the  God's goals, to persevere to the end.  Hard work is required in faith and in life.  But  God will help us. 

Three Expressions of Courage

There are many forms of courage which need recognition:  the courage to face the truth about a tough situation, the courage to focus on the "best", the courage to make changes in sync with God's plans for your life.  This Sunday, we are going to see how Jesus, himself,  was a person of great courage, and how with his His help we can have courage to live God's plan for our lives.
