Our Toddler and Preschool Ministry is designed for 1 year – 5 years old with three main truths in mind for each lesson:

 

By the time a child is five years old, we want them to know:

God Made Me

Psalm 139:13-14

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”

God Loves Me

Romans 8:38-39

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to sepa­rate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

John 3:16

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and

only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish

but have eternal life.”

 

At HMPC we  use several key strategies:
- Teach less for more - Repeats one key truth (Bottom Line) all month long.
- Engage the five senses - Helps master the concept through creative    

  activities.
- Teach with the end in mind - Helps a child by age five, to believe:
- Experience worship - Encourages children to talk to God any time, any place.
- Connect at home - Provides parents with ideas for conversation with their

    child.
